since 1988 has been staff surgeon of Moritz Kaposi Medical Center, Department of Surgery, since 1999 he has been working in the Department of General Surgery, Vascular and Thoracic Surgery as well

1998 took part to work out the experimental surgical and clinical ways of minimally invasive surgery, and microlaparotomy surgery under the guidance of Prof. István Rozsos M.D., D.Sc.
1999 was appointed to Head Surgeon, Dr. Ferenczy has joined the surgical staff of the Seffer&Renner Private Clinic, and participated surgical series of the first Hungarian female to male conversion, and to develop new surgical techniques (e.g. minimal invasive method of breast augmentation, correction of gynecomastia and rectus diastasis)
